Movado has been on my brain ever since Michael Kors landed on everyone else’s wrist. I’ve always taken a different direction, when it comes to the things I purchase. I wouldn’t say I follow trends, I pretty much buy whatever catches my eye, along with what’s a great addition to my closet. I think I spend more money on accessories than on clothing. It’s something more complex than it just lasting longer “at times“, and/or it just being a daily essential. It does something to my soul, I can’t explain it but it’s there. Once upon a time, not long ago I was lusting after a certain Movado watches, that just scream out of my price range, and to put things into prospective. Once upon a time, not long ago was much more like two weeks ago. These two watches on the Movado website say “I’m somebody’s boss“. Here’s the difference between the two. One retails for $1,795, and the other for $1,495. I’m not quite sure I’m ready to walk around with a watch that expensive on my arm yet. Perhaps two promotions down the road or age 28. I want to keep you from making a purchase though, if you’re ready for a big boy move the jewels are below.

Even though I was out my league with the two expensive watches above I was still out searching for something nice for myself. I had grown attached to Movado and I had settled for a different watch “not pictured”, really nice, but not as stunning as the “Edge”. I’m thrilled to say the least, because now I’m looking forward to being gifted or gifting myself something special.
