New York Fashion Week begun this past Thursday “officially“, although some shows did start on Wednesday. Todd Snyder is up first on my line up, and I can say as far as menswear goes this season from #NYFW he had the collection with the most outerwear from overcoats to jackets, knits, bombers, and so on. He touched just about every item a guy would need in his wardrobe for the wintery season in this city, especially this winter with temperatures not even leaving the freezing point. Black trumped this collection, but that makes sense doesn’t it with it being Fall/Winter collections. Pay attention however, because things starts lightening up towards the end of the collection with browns and grays coming into play. Look 2; “although you can’t see much detailing through the photo” back to what I was saying look 2 offers a gorgeous black bomber jacket that looks to be super thick which makes it a perfect item, it even looks like it adds thickness to the human body. Look 4 I love because the jacket looks like a denim jacket, but instead of being denim its looks waxed or perhaps waxed denim. The camel looks start pouring in around look 10, and it’s definitely lightens up the mood of the collection and conversation, tans can be a pretty boring color; however when done correctly they make for a great look as they did in look 10 with the different tones of brown and tan being paired together. Another luscious coat popped up around look 19 when the color has went from tan to dark brown, this coat looks extremely heavy-duty, and comes equipped with a fur collar “equipped” ha am I selling cars here or fashion? If you’ve been following my words before, you know I adore precise precision, and look 30 just so happens to be an exact example of that, I love a nice thick trouser they pair perfect with a nice boot. Thanks Todd!
