The Balenciaga Sneaker that Stole My Heart

I must admit, I wasn’t too much of a fan of these Balenciaga sneakers until I saw these two pair I’m presenting you with today. I even can remember back when this guy posted a pair on Instagram, and I went on to say how I wasn’t that into them! Well in all honesty that changed last week when I came upon these two new designs from Balenciaga. The white pair is my totally favorite, and it definitely has a lot to do with the different fabric they used for this particular version. Usually they have this leather look that I don’t care for too much, but this white sneaker is so clean, I mean I think I would only want them to wear around the house or put them on if I were still living in a place when my life consisted of daily driving. I wish I could rid my closet of 80% of all the shoes I own, with a new budget of up to 15k, and start over fresh. I need a whole new wardrobe to be honest, but that’s a different topic for a different day. I did a little research on this show, to find out why I was so attracted to it, and it turns that they used a twill-denim effect white leather, so it’s a totally differently formula that created this show, and I suggest they start using it more often. If I had to describe this color it was either be Earl Grey like the “Tea” or Space Gray “I’m sure everyone would use that adjective”. There’s more to this shoe than meets the eye. The top half of the shoe, where the light grey resides is of suede material, and then it starts to blend and turns into leather “patent leather” to be exact. This fusion of the two different fabrics really makes for an interesting story on a rainy day in the city, what is one to do when the sneaker can’t even make up its mind haha?
