Last night I was in my room reminiscing on my past life, more specifically Freshman year of college at http://www.famu.edu. I took a trip down memory lane, and realized that all I wore; well 95% of my wardrobe consisted of brands such as American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie & Fitch, so I took some time to visit all three sites, and to see what I had been missing. I was appalled at the prices, and how everything is on sale. I use to dream of these prices as a college student, but everything was pretty much always full price so they ate up a lot of my money, along with my friends who all were avid shoppers at said brands. Nowadays you can’t get me to walk inside these stores. The title maybe a bit misleading, who am I to say their broke? I can concluded though right? When an entire store is 40% off of everything something is definitely up. What’s the issue though? Are more people transitioning out of this Preppy-Califorian style, and switching over to the looks of companies such as H&M and Zara? Remember Scientific Method? The five steps! So first, Step 1; I formulated my question. After visiting these sites, and asking myself why is everything on these sites on sale? Step 2, Research. So I took clips of each site with the discounts showing, and here’s what I’ve come up with.

While conducting my research I noticed that American Eagle seemed to be the only brand that the whole site was not on sale; however I came across a few of their new items being on sale already, and its new? Seems like an issue to me. I’ve come up with my hypothesis which is Step 3. Obviously sales are declining major amongst these brands that I once breathed life into every friday during my visits to the Governor Square Mall http://www.governorssquare.com wait who am I kidding. I definitely went to the mall more than once a week. Unfortunately I can’t just walk into these retailers and demand their sales reports or can I? Let’s assume I can’t because I don’t have the notability for them to fork them over to me so Step 4 “Experiment” has to be ruled out. Step 5 Analysis or Data whichever you prefer with the information provided above I concluded these companies are experiencing major losses in sales. For each brand the reasoning maybe different sort of like after the CEO of Abercrombie said what he said, the sale emails started entering my email day after day after day, and still have been nonstop. Watch what you say people. Step 6 In conclusion, all maybe not be the cause of word vomit, it could simply be that the clothes these brands offer along with their aesthetics aren’t whats hot for the masses anymore, and people are taking their money else where.
However if you’re still interested in such brands, as I may backtrack to Hollister for their body spray then I definitely recommend you spending your $6 on these
Also recommending their cologne however this particularly item is not on sale, but is worth it!
