Imagine your on Instagram one day, and Jim Moore from GQ Magazine post a photo of these two twins, and they just so happen to be African American, and you actually read his Caption. Imagine you find out that these two African American twins are the faces behind WANT LES ESSENTIELS DE LA VIE. Well you don’t have to imagine anymore, because that is a true story, and exactly how I found out. Now you can sit here, and say I’m late and that everyone already knew that. You can do that, but I’m not sure I believe that everyone knows! Picture how excited I became when I read such! My friends, and I always converse about how we need more “Black” Designers, and to my surprise I come across two of them.
I’ve always seen this brand on http://www.mrporter.com , and at http://www.bergdorfgoodman.com . I kept saying to myself I need to research this brand and see if they have something online that I want. I just never did, but I always stopped and observed their collection when I’m in the store. I’m proud, because it’s such a high end line that’s being sold at the high end stores, and sites! It’s such a moving feeling to witness people of color doing such great things, and keeping quite about it!
